Fabric of the Universe

I as going to an acting exercise but after seeing Hogan model's face controls, I've decided to do a lip sync instead.

I'm still new at 3D so I'm not sure what I need to do to make it better.
comments are greatly appreciated. :)

  1. Cool stuff.

His mouth maintains a very wide position throughout the entire lip sync though, so some of things like the start of "resting" and the brr in fabric don't come across convincingly.

  2. Hey kyle. thanks for comment..
yeah.. i wondered about the mouth shape.. It might be because of the hogan model. I'll try different model with more subtle dialogue next time and see if i can avoid problems like the ones you pointed out.

although I do like lipsync on the word 'fabric'

  3. It looks pretty good, although you don't have to hit every mouth shape, just the important ones and mainly the big ones (open and closed). The rest you can just kind of smooth over.

Cool stuff! Keep it up, man!

  5. Is this VO from that shitty D&D Dragonlance movie?

Jack Bauer as Raistlin... dunno about that one.
